video recorded interview for the first round with no human interaction, questions are based on STAR framework and remind Amazon style. You have two tries on each recording, plus math minigames after that. Which doesn't make any sense.

Case where you needed to make a quick decision, but you were faced with conflicting information from multiple sources. 4. The recruiter was responsive and friendly in email and over the phone. Their pre-screen process was daunting. You are given a link to a video program. You are asked questions with a short time frame to answer each one, all while on camera and being recorded. You are given one opportunity to re-record, but you cannot go back and select keeping the prior one if you liked it better. It was stressful and not personal.
I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Lumen in Aug 2023
Interview
Applied online and received an email that I qualified to take a HireVu video interview and play some games. They gave an explanation of what the games showed them. My first thought was what lazy HR person, couldn't screen a candidate, so it was a turnoff from me. Although I completed the process and supposedly was supposed to hear back, I never did. This is a reflection of the HR process and was a turn-off... no other company I've encountered the one-way video/games.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Tell me about a time when you didn't agree with a customer?
Initial interview process was way too complex and time-consuming. They make you do a series of video interviews without even talking to someone - just a lot of work without an interview even being promised to you. I guess it's worth it if you really want the job, but if you're just looking, you can spend this amount of time and effort elsewhere applying to more jobs.
