Question 1
When was last time you dealt with a challenge, how did you face that challenge
Terrible interview process by design, no human connection or interaction with the candidate, as this a one way video interview. Bigger companies than Lumen still carry two way video interviews, in a one way video interview you have 3 minutes to answer a question, than the system analyzes facial expressions, eye-movements, body movements, details of clothes, and nuances of voice. You are essentially trying to please a system with no human involved, while being timed on questions. No feedback on your answer either from hirevue. To Lumen leadership: Let applicants know that HIREVUE will be part of the process to not waste candidates time, i.e. Make an agree box part of the application saying: You agree that to be considered, you will need to complete a one way video interview", as you are already wasting your time completing the online application. Never got a chance to speak to any recruiter or hiring manager.

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Lumen (Dallas, TX) in Jan 2017
Interview
Talent Acquisition guy contacted me on LinkedIn with a few documents to be filled out and sent back, followed by an online aptitude test scheduled after a couple of weeks by a recruiter. On passing the test, interviews with the hiring manager and a peer/technical person followed a couple of weeks later. I was told they wanted to do a face to interview, but there was no word for over a month, followed by an email saying that another person was selected for the role.
