Behavioral Questions: Why Mayo? Why do you want to be a nurse? What do you want to be better at? Tell me a time you went beyond for a patient. Tell me a time when you dealt with a patient who disagreed with you.
Clinical skilled questions: The interviewers will give you four patients and you're going to have to tell them which one you would prioritized first and what interventions will you do for each of them.
Example: Patient 1 has an antibiotic going and is currently having trouble breathing. Patient 2 is intense pain. Patient 3 needs help to the commode, and patient 4 is unconscious and experiencing hypoglycemia. Who would you prioritize and what would you do?
They also asked if a patient is refusing medication because the dosage seems wrong, What would you do?
