I applied online and heard from Heidi, the recruiter, pretty quickly. The initial phone call helped me understand the company, how they're growing and the benefits of being an employee. Things moved quickly (which is good!), scheduling the technical interview a couple days later. This phase kicked off with an initial discussion on my background and I learned a bit about the interviewing engineer, Michael. We then jumped into a two part javascript question on Coderpad. Michael provided enough guidance and made the testing experience comfortable.
Unfortunately, I did not move forward after this tech screening. I received great feedback on what went well and what did not, which is always helpful since many companies send a generic rejection without any meaningful comments. My experience, albeit short, was better than most interviews.
