Introductions and then boring behavioral questions of “tell me a time”. Behavior questions have their merit, but asking a seasoned professional to “explain a time” type of questions is just insulting. Here’s and idea… discuss the role and strategies. Answering obtuse questions is not what professional managers/ leadership roles need to practice. Obviously our credentials speak for themselves. Had a behavioral Interview that was scheduled at a conference recently. The interviewer herself was a Senior project manager. Pretty straightforward questions. They didn't reach out to me afterwards so I'm assuming I didn't get it.
