This company is elitist and will not even consider you as a candidate unless you went to a "prestigious" college. If you went to school in Utah, they will only interview you if you went to TWO specific state schools that are in the state they are located, or some other elite school. What's really sad is that in Utah, out of the past three governors of the state, one did not earn a degree, another earned a GED a later graduated from a state school from another state, and the other went to a "open enrollment" college in Southern Utah. The latter governor helped create Western Governors University, which is an online school for working adults, that Qualtrics won't even consider candidates from. : /
This is enough to where I will never consider applying, and will never support Qualtrics ever again.
I know a lot of tech professionals that are successful and amazing at what they do, and they didn't get an elitist degree, or were self-taught, and/or gained their knowledge through experience in the workforce.
What a shame, Qualtrics, you're missing out on an entire pool of applicants, that quite frankly are better off not being employed by such a prideful, "exclusive", and close-minded company.
I even had an amazing employee referral, and they emailed me back saying I wouldn't be seriously considered because of my "open enrollment" education.
