Interview
The interview began with me delivering my elevator pitch over the phone. The recruiter then provided background information about the company, including their location and main focus areas. While this was meant to be primarily a "getting to know you" style interview, the recruiter also evaluated my data expertise by asking about my previous projects and experience.

The technical portion of the interview included questions about data cleaning methodologies, SQL joins (specifically the distinctions between inner and outer joins), and my proficiency with various programming languages.
The blend of both conversational and technical questions suggests this was an initial screening interview to assess both cultural fit and basic technical competency before potentially moving forward with more in-depth technical rounds.
