It was going ok at first. I could definitely tell they are reading from a script but that's fine. The issue is I thought I was taking an introductory call but I was asked technical questions that I honestly forgot because in recent jobs I have had to pay no mind to it. But this was an introductory call, my expectation was to find out more about the company and position, and tell the recruiter about myself and my most recent work experience. I would expect technical questions on or after the 2nd interview where I would be meeting people who they themselves understand base-level security so they can ask the more advanced questions that would hold more importance than naming some ports and layers. Maybe if I was a fresh college graduate asking me these questions would be fine but I have been working for over 2 years and I had expectations of the company wanting to know what applications have I used, projects that I've worked on, what was my job tasks, do I know how to execute and perform penetration testing or malware analysis.
