Reynolds American interview questions

The interview process started off with an initial phone screening conducted by a recruiter based in Minnesota. The next step was to complete a webcam recording of yourself answering some questions. This was followed by a one on one skype-like interview with the initial recruiter. I can't recall whether the "day on the trade" ride-along was before or after the skype interview. The "day on the trade" was a half day ride along with a local territory manager to get an idea of what the role actually is. The last step in the process is to go to a panel interview. RJ Reynolds gets your flight and hotel arranged in plenty of time to schedule time off from your existing employer. The panel interview is roughly 3 hours long long broken into to seperate sessions. You meet with two people in each room. Depending on your personality type this can either be fun and interesting, or the experience can be daunting and stressful. I found the panel interview to be a very good avenue to learn more about the role and the company.

After applying online because of an employee referral, I received an email to complete an assessment. The email stated that upon finishing I would receive either a phone or email in regard to the next step. The initial interview was a phone interview with a recruiter that was pre-scheduled. After this interview, I received and email to schedule for a "Day on the Trade" with a current employee. The employee will rate you and send back a recommendation. After this meeting, I was scheduled for an online appt with a recruiter and also had to make an online profile by answering situational behavior questions. After this interview, I was contacted on an upcoming panel interview. If it is out of town they will fly you there and pay for a hotel. This was the last step. They really like for you to be yourself and energetic. Its kind of atypical of many interviews.I was always told to be prepared to move if hired. The place offered was not the most desirable but I think it will be good for me.
