Interview
The only applications at our store are online, so the first interview you get will be on the phone from an HR headquarters in Phoenix. I wasn't able to get any feedback after that phone interview because my phone service at the time was awful.

Q: Talk about a time where you have helped others.
It was fast and easy, very proactive people and organized. On the first day I received the call, and I was happy about it. They hire fast. If in the first 2 weeks you don't receive a call, check again.
Didn't ask any hard questions, just when availability was and if was over 18 (in order to be cashier). Didn't have to wait long to be called into the office.
I applied in-person. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Safeway (Vallejo, CA) in Mar 2023
Interview
When I came in for the interview, I was brought back to the office. We went over previous work scenarios and how I handled them. I was given a choice between two departments. I received an offer letter then and there.
