Intitial phone interview seemed to be straightforward - questions about job history, asked about background and hobbies, how comfortable I would be with sales. Moved along quickly after the phone interview to the next "in-person" portion of the interview (Zoom meeting). Interview was short, about 30 minutes. Almost the same questions with a bit more info on what an SDR would be doing daily... which is basically spending hours on the phone daily. This is a sales role. Felt like the interview went well with good comments from both parties throughout but received a rejection notice only 2 hours later after being told during the interview they would evaluate deeper and let me know. No feedback provided. Seemed like they already have candidates in mind or weren't interested right off the bat. Not sure. If you want to make sales calls all day this might be for you. Could not understand what they were looking for in a candidate for an entry level job, especially being commissioned based. Interviewers seemed nice enough. Interview just felt rushed and contained to a time window. Wish it would have been more informative as to what they are specifically needing in a candidate to do the job. If you are making calls to secure sales meetings... what requirements are needed? Again... no feedback. Odd.
