Tanium Software Engineer interview questions

Tanium put me through about four rounds of interviews. The first was a short behavioral interview where a member of the engineering team asked me about my experience. Then, I had two hour-long technical interviews in which I did some live coding with different members of the engineering team. In each I was given a different coding challenge and was asked to implement a solution. Finally, there was yet another behavioral interview with another member of the engineering team. After this final interview I heard nothing from Tanium for about 8 days. After all of those phone calls an interviews and 8 days of radio silence, they ended up rejecting my application citing reasons that they could have come up with by just reading my resume.

Contacted by a recruiter and talked about my background. HR specifically asked me if I need working visa sponsorship and I answered yes. Then I took two rounds of technical interviews. The interviewers are all very nice and the questions are pretty straightforward. Two days later hr called me said they could not give me an offer since I need visa sponsorship and it is too risky for them to hire me because of that. Well if that’s the cause they should not arrange the technical interviews at the first place! What a waste of my time!
