Interview
I applied for the User Support Specialist role, and was asked to complete a behavioral and cognitive assessment to complete the next steps for the role. As someone with a learning disability, taking the cognitive assessment is not easy, and I find it completely unfair to ask someone to take it a second time because they didn't do well the first. I understand having applicants complete it to get a sense of what the company and assessments are about, but you are literally only considering moving forward with someone after they do better with the 50 question cognitive assessment under twelve minutes, it's just unfair. You are not even giving the applicant a chance to speak about their experience, especially for a support role. So I decided not to take it a second time, and move on with my search.

Interview
The Predictive Index specializes in interviewing and job placement metrics. The interview process involved 7 different interviews and 2 tests. In the end, I was not offered a job because I did not have all the desired requirement even though they claimed that personality mattered more than skills. They knew that from the resume. I felt like I was just a guinea pig helping them expand their research.

Question 1
There were a lot of basic academic questions.
- what are the 3 characteristics of an Object Oriented Language?
- what software design patterns do you use?
- what software tools do you use?

Interview
I was contacted by "TA" to take their assessments. I put in the time to do so, mind you, I had not spoken with an actual person yet. I heard nothing back (even after following up directly) and then suddenly got an email asking me to retake the timed assessment.

I then followed up directly (for a 2nd time) and a week later received an automated rejection email. Still, never once spoke with anyone in person (or email exchanges for that matter). I must add that the assessment made ZERO sense as to the role I was applying for. I understand its their product but maybe taking the time for a human to explain how it relates would be helpful.
