The process was really vague and the task I was asked to complete aligned with a different role, the recruiter was all over the place. It definitely felt as though they were going through the motions with me, as in, they had someone for the role, but HAD to interview X number of people.

Had one interview with a recruiter who was very uninterested in anything I had to say. I have sales experience, but not in tech, and every question had the air of "why do you think you could possibly do this job?" and I really just wondered why they even contacted me for an interview. The interviewer called me late and then spoke really quickly through all the questions. She asked me subjective questions like "what Toast product do you like best?" and after I would answer she would say "actually this is the best Toast product". I was also asked what I thought the benefits were of another Toast product, and having experience in the service industry I spoke to what I thought were amazing benefits of the product and she said "actually the reason it's a good product is this instead." There was nothing I could say that would please her. I'm labeling this a difficult interview because the recruiter was not looking for me to be successful
