I applied through other source. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at UScellular (Cedar Rapids, IA) in Jan 2014
Interview
The interview process is a one to two hour long interview based off of job specific questions. You are then graded per answer on a scale of 1-5. You also have a grade on speech/appearance (did you dress professionally).
You are always interviewed by a minimum of 2 leaders of at least Store Manager or higher level (normally, one would be in the store you're applying to).
Depending on the number of applicants it can take maybe a week to have an answer.
For an outside hire this may be longer, because you have to pass a background check if they like you.

I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at UScellular (Portland, ME) in Jun 2014
Interview
I was an internal candidate, process getting the interview was not straight forward. I did not really know my status for weeks and until just a day or two before. Interview was just basic behavioral questions but they are looking for very specific types of answers. They are looking for your thought process, reasoning and reactions with everyone involved in the situation. they want to know what you did, how you did it and most importantly why you did it and what you learned from it.
