Applied in Oct 2009, received a call end of Nov 2009. First phone interview was in early December and was followed up with 2 more phone interviews. I then had three on-site interviews and an off-site team lunch. I received an offer about 4 months after applying for the position but after 4 months and multiple levels of interviews, I decided to decline the offer.

Applied online like everyone else. Got a call from a recruiter and they do a mini phone interview to hear what you have to say. Obviously you have to sound ethusiastic when your on the phone with them. Next step if you make it will be an interview with a time and date. Interview process is pretty much standard across the board. I didnt get a job offer, I flunked my interview because I was not prepared. Biggest tip for phone and 1:1 interviews. Have your answers prepared! Most companies use the STAR interview method, so get the most common questions asked and have an answer already prepared. This way the interview goes well instead of making up a quick story or being stuck on a question. Secondly, you have to remember that there are more people they are interviewing so you have to "stand out" from the rest and be "memorable". and lastly do your homework about the company. If you follow these 3 rules, you will get the job you want!
