There was only one in-person interview. They ask questions like, "Was there ever a time where you dealt with an angry co-worker? How did you handle it?" or "Was there ever a time where you disagreed with someone in a leadership position?" Just a lot of behavioral type questions. They also ask you "Why do you want to work at Universal?", "Why should we hire you?", and "Tell me about yourself." This was my very first job interview so I was a little nervous, but it was fine. I had volunteered before so I was able to answer the behavioral questions and had some experience with cash-handling. On the form they give you before the interview, I had put that I was also willing to work in merchandise and food service, so at the end of the interview I was offered a position at a restaurant instead of attractions. I was hired on the spot and they took all of my basic information. Now I have to complete the three orientations before I start working. I'm starting as a seasonal worker, but was told that if I showed a good work ethic, I can move up to part-time. If you dress nicely (business casual) and smile, you'll do fine. I think they are looking for people who care about the guests and will work well with other people.
