Initial interview was over the phone with the HR Rep. It wasn't scheduled, so I was a little caught off guard when I realized about half way through that it was actually the first interview. Since they decided to move forward with the interview process, I had to schedule a drug test (within 48 hours I think?) and consent to a background check. The HR rep then passed my information to the branch manager I was going to interview with, who then contacted me to schedule and interview time. The interview with the branch manager was fantastic. It was very organic rather than the strict question-answer type interviews I'm used to. We ended up just chatting (in a way that brought up topics prompting the same answers as typical interview questions, but without the awkward structure) and then I met with the supervisor and spoke with her for a few minutes. The manager basically send she was offering me the job right there, but had to wait to officially make the offer until the background check and drug test results came back. Since I knew those were fine I pretty much just waited another day to get the call from HR. All in all from the first call to the job offer took only like 3 or 4 days, which I'm told is uncommon, but it's definitely possible. I started my first day the following week.
