The beginning steps of the interviewing process was overall pretty smooth and pleasant. I was invited to a 1st round interview in February. The interview was over Google Hangouts and was an hour long. It consisted of behavioral questions and a case. My interviewer was patient and kind. A week later, I was invited to a 2nd round on-site interview. The on-site interview experience was pleasant as well. I was informed that I would hear back about a final decision within 1 to 2 weeks. After 2 weeks, I still had not heard back about any updates on my application, so I emailed the campus recruiter. The campus recruiter did not email me back. Instead, I get an email from the lead recruiter. The lead recruiter asks for my availability so she could give me feedback as well as inform me about next steps. I emailed her back immediately about my availability. I do not hear back from her for a week so I emailed her again. Again, no reply. After I had received another job offer (a month after my on-site interview with Wayfair), I emailed them one last time regarding my application status. I finally get a response back from the lead recruiter apologizing for the delayed response. Since I told her I was on a time crunch, she told me I did not get the position. I just wish I had known earlier instead of constantly having to email them.
