Pros

No PRO's in the company

Cons

Market corrections were applied selectively and unfairly. Some employees received adjustments while others in identical or more demanding roles were ignored without explanation. Experience was completely disregarded. Employees with years of proven performance and institutional knowledge were passed over, while newer hires were corrected upward simply because of timing or title. No clear criteria or transparency. Leadership failed to explain how decisions were made, creating confusion, resentment, and mistrust across teams. Illogical and demoralizing outcomes. People doing the same work — or more — are now paid significantly less than peers. This has destroyed morale and collaboration. HR and management deflect responsibility. Concerns are met with vague responses like “budget constraints” or “market alignment,” without addressing obvious inconsistencies.

Thank you for sharing your feedback. We understand that compensation and market alignment decisions can raise questions and strong emotions, and we appreciate you taking the time to express your perspective. Clark Schaefer Hackett regularly reviews compensation as part of a broader effort to remain competitive and aligned with market data, business needs, and role expectations. These reviews consider multiple factors and are not limited to any single element. While we recognize that individual outcomes may not always align with personal expectations, decisions are made thoughtfully and with the intent of supporting the long-term health of the organization and its teams. We recognize the importance of clear communication around complex topics such as compensation and will continue to evaluate how information is shared and discussed across the firm. Thank you again for providing this feedback.

Pros

There are no PRO's in the company.

Cons

This company treats Indian employees as nothing more than cheap offshore labor. There is zero respect for talent, experience, or contribution. Leadership’s recent visit to the Mumbai office was a calculated manipulation exercise, not a genuine attempt to improve anything. Management deliberately conducted one-on-one meetings to extract information, build false trust, and create expectations they had no intention of honoring. They later claimed employees were only “a penny behind the market,” which is either gross incompetence or a deliberate lie. Using that excuse, they carried out a fake “market correction” that amounted to nothing more than rounding off salaries by an insignificant amount. This was a dirty, deceptive tactic meant to silence employees while trying to improve their image. It insults basic intelligence and shows how little management thinks of its Indian workforce. Promises were made openly and then broken without accountability or transparency. The leadership lacks integrity, ethics, and credibility. Morale is low because employees now clearly see the pattern: listen, pretend, extract value, and do nothing. If exploitation wrapped in corporate language is your idea of culture, then this company is consistent — but it is absolutely not a place for professionals who expect fairness or honesty
