Pros

Great role for entering the Telecommunication field. Young adults & career switchers... This is great place to start. Excellent opportunity to gain a basic understanding and hands-on experience with the fundamentals of Radio Frequency and Networking principles. Stable & consist work so great for a family oriented individuals looking for skilled labor. Along with a multitude of benefits as they are a large company with many partnerships.

Cons

Ultimately the metric focused approach does not fit everyone's working style. As a knowledgeable technician I valued addressing root causes vs completing the job. If you worked under a multitude of metrics youll understand the stress this may cause. I personally had to leave because the knowledge and intrest I obtained about RF made me outgrow the role. It just wasn't deep enough for me nor felt compensated for the amount I knew vs my peers. However this may not be your issue

Pros

Great employees Benefits Not all people are bad

Cons

Boss's that want to put you down Nothing to do No purpose in the work Depressing environment No credit given to good work My boss gave me nothing to do and anytime I did anything they would feel the need to either take credit away or minimize the effort. Now that I'm quitting it dawned to them that I did something. They wasted my time and effort away. I worked on many projects over the years but over time due to God knows what they kept passing opportunities away. My friends and I tested this by pumping the reviews so that way they were forced to read them. However to them they felt the need to put me down. I got an opportunity of a life time but it seems they are a bit jealous and felt the need to pretend that q bunch of people came up to them saying something but he said not for them to come to me. How stupid do they think I am? If you work here avoid Connect at all cost. Just avoid Comcast . They do not care about anyone but profit and it shows. In fact so many of my friends quit for the same reason but they didn't feel safe to tell anyone that this is what happens. They are scared of retaliation so it's going to stay bad forever. Someone is going to probably bring this up and they will have something to say like murmurmur I'm a great leader. They only put people up that lick their boots. If you are into that then this job is for you.

Pros

I was very fortunate to have several leaders that helped me at every level of my career. I worked hard, sought and received guidance. I was able to learn, grow and build meaningful relationships with my peers as we built teams together.

Cons

Formerly, while salaries and leadership representation was never quite equal, there was clear and intentional effort to promote equity and inclusion. There were business events where like-experienced professionals could gather, mentor, share and grow. There was a decline in this effort company-wide in the last few years of my employment. The fast-paced environment is taxing and not for the weak. It never slows down. It is always "that time of year." It's manageable with great leaders and well-focused teams but change management is not always equal. Pay attention.
