CrossCountry consulting: most toxic work environment to exist

Pros

I have never written a review for a company ever but felt compelled to after my experience here.

Cons

I’ve read bad glass door reviews and always attributed it to a disgruntled employee but that’s not the case here as is evident by the influx of negative reviews. I say this with absolute care for future potential employees: RUN. Do not work here. They promise you fake niceness during the interview process but once you’re on board it’s a different story. My colleagues’ mental health plummeted to abysmal levels here due to the insane expectations and managers and leadership. Part of the new hire onboarding checklist is to leave a positive review on Glassdoor…how can a new employee accurately review a company? This place rewards the most toxic, narcissistic people to walk this earth. If you have any ounce of a soul, run and don’t look back. This place will stifle any joy you have in life. It’s sad because they made it seem like a nice place to work in the interview process but the experience juxtaposed it to the extreme. This is where dreams disappear. This place rewards some of the most cruel people to walk this earth.

Pros

The people I worked with day to day were sharp and actually fought to do good work, even while everything around them was collapsing.

Cons

- I spent more time trapped in reorganization meetings than actually doing my job. - Every few months came another restructure, another reshuffle, different reporting lines, different strategies that completely contradicted the last ones. - It was maddening watching the same failures get "fixed" by endlessly moving boxes around on an org chart. - Nobody knew who anyone reported to or what the actual strategy even was anymore. - The chaos was not even productive-- it was nonstop confusion disguised as progress. - By the end I stopped caring because whatever plan existed would be abondoned in six months anyway.

Pros

It's one of the companies people should avoid at all costs.

Cons

- Employees at CrossCountry Consulting have completely lost trust in leadership, and there is every reason for that. - The current leadership is filled with ineffective and miserable people who have no business leading anyone. - Most are shockingly incompetent and incapable of properly handling employees. - The rest are lazy, disconnected, and contribute absolutely nothing of value to the company. - The leadership is pathetic, useless, and the sad reality is that this company continues to suffer because of it.
