If you are a well-educated and highly qualified woman with a shred of ambition or one who desires career advancement, do not work here. This is a good ol' boys network and there is no place for women on the career ladder. If you are performing your job well and they like you, your manager will lie to you about possible promotions to keep you going. Like most of the reviews here, nepotism is rampant. The company is cheap with its employees, pay is low. Men with less qualifications and experience can shoot right up the ladder. As a woman, you will never go anywhere and be given the *crap* work to take care of. I am surprised this company has not been sued for discrimination. Very cliquish - don't look to be included if you haven't worked here forever. I've never seen such immature and rude behavior from management anywhere I've worked. They will walk right past you and not say a simple 'hello" or acknowledge you. Anywhere else I've worked management is friendly to all employees, not just to each other or their sycophants. Information is not shared. You can be working on a project or assignment and things will change or there is new, crucial information that affects your effort. Your manager won't tell you and you'll waste your time going in the wrong direction. Your manager may barely talk to you. Some men are promoted and may have average job skills, but are not socially equipped. You'll suffer their lack. Men will be placed on a career advancement path, women just need to be quiet and do their jobs with no expectation of opportunity.
