Pros

Some senior leaders displayed a genuine interest in developing and mentoring employees.

Cons

Work-life balance, organizational strategy, clear favoritism and preferential treatment, workforce at HQ was incredibly disengaged overall — many people abused the 50% work from home privilege which made it impossible to get work done — it wasn’t unusual for some groups to work from home 70% of time, senior leaders claimed to want feedback and awareness of critical issues which when reported led to unpleasant results, no clear strategy or direction, primary goals seem to be cut costs and grow at all cost.

Pros

Good Leadership, Clear Company Vision, Common Goal within organization. Good incentive, Great Benefits. Well respected organization in the area. GREAT communication from CEO!

Cons

Some processes needed to be upgraded, or just focused on. Busy teller branches often carried the load, and were not compensated for that. You could transfer to a slow branch and get the same pay for less work.

Pros

Credit union movement is genuinely concerned with helping consumers; their heart is in the right place...however...

Cons

Senior management is clueless as to what motivates employees. It's a "let them eat cake" mentality. Completely inept "Chief" Marketing Officer has an extraordinarily large inferiority complex that masks itself as machismo; the Chief HR Officer is only interested in building her internal empire--no leadership skills whatsoever. Both have lost significant employees over the last year due to their lack of ability to lead. CEO is genuinely a nice person, but he refuses to listen to anyone--only his ideas are the good ones. They're WAY behind on product innovation and only really seem to be interested in naming stadiums and not making a difference in the communities they serve.
