Pros
Decent pay and depending upon assigned client site it can be a good working environment, but, that has nothing to do with Williams Lea and only with your own luck with where you get assigned.
Cons
I worked for this disasterous joke of an organization for over 10 years. I was twice promoted, on a management track and literally gave my life to doing the best job I could. After giving a horrible, trainwreck of an employee a negative review, that employee went out of his way to eavesdrop on a personal phone conversation I was forced to engage in with a nightmare roommate I was trying to evict. That employee, who obviously had an axe to grind with me over his poor review, went to the Williams Lea HR department, used details from my personal phone conversation and claimed he was being "harrassed" and exposed to a hostile work environment. When I was called over to corporate to discuss this I almost burst out laughing that one of their office employees was openly and loudly discussing personal details of a sexual tryst he'd recently had while I'm there to defend myself against a clearcut, totally bogus claim. When I spoke honestl and openly with HR their response was to immediately side with the jerk employee (who was subsequently let go for other reasons) without any investigation whatsoever. I was slapped with a write up for harrassing this person, whom frankly, I couldn't stand and had always done everything within my power to never engage with much less harrass, and then a couple of months later I was suddenly fired for a completely manufactured reason. I am fairly certain it's a standard procedure of theirs to take long-term employees, who are maxing out their salary categories, and get rid of them in favor of hiring new staff at a substantially lower salary. Williams Lea believes that every employee is nothing more than a cog; disposable, commonplace and easily replaceable and they don't hesitate to throw away skills, loyalty and service over profit. It's the singlemost factor in why they consistently lack anything remotely resembling greatness. The kicker to my story is that after erroneously punishing me for something I was not even guilty of, after taking my nearly 11 years of hard work and service, not to mention my vast knowledge and experience, and hurling all of that into the trash they then disputed my unemployment claim, forcing me to await a dispute hearing which automatically delayed my receipt of any benefits for two months, and they did this entirely to create personal hardship upon me since, when that dispute hearing finally occurred, they did not even show up for and I won by default. They simply wanted to maximize the injury they could inflict on me and never had any intent of actually following through with a dispute they knew they would have certainly lost. The net result of this was that they caused me to become so catastrophically behind on my mortgage and homeowners association dues that I was compelled to file bankruptcy and ultimately lost my home leaving me homeless and living in my car ever since. This is what Williams Lea does to it's honest and hardworking employees. My eleven years of faithful service was rewarded by leaving me living in a car and unable to find new employment since I cannot even provide a home address on a resume since I have none. None of this would have ever have happened if it weren't for their disrespectful, disgusting and dishonest business practices and no one should work for this organization nor ever do any business with them whatsoever.
