Previous hybrid dual role employee. Used and disregarded seems to be a common theme for tenants and employees.

Pros

Good pay and benefits with an inclusive environment.

Cons

High turnover of supervisory positions and a major disconnect from the residents being served. The company has no real mission outside of making the owners more wealthy. This also means there is no loyalty and no visibility of the amount of work being done. The company will simply cancel work orders and falsify the number of vacancies versus completed builds to look good on paper to investors. There is also disregard for local squatter’s rights laws.

Great Benefits, great pay, hybrid scheduling and overall the inclusive and diverse culture. FKH takes care of their employees and their residents as well.

Cons

There is nothing that happens that cannot be fixed. Leadership listens.

FirstKey leads in diversity. As a company they are consistent at pushing diversity, equity and inclusion and it's reflective throughout the company and markets spread abroad.

Cons

In property management, no matter how hard you try, residents are not always pleased which leads to negative reviews that are not always accurate of events or conversations that may have taken place.
