Pros

I liked the building we were in, it has a beautiful courtyard. Office was fairly large, too, and there used to be a few events that happened throughout the holidays. The pay was...Ok... and the health initiatives used to be encouraging.

Cons

This is, first and foremost, a family-owned business, with several of the family in high positions of leadership, friends of the family making up the EA team, and throughout the positions of any influence. Brothers, sisters, spouses, children. There will be no "fair" treatment here, and don't expect those that do you wrong to be held accountable by those higher up that are ALSO part of the clique. It will be difficult to find peace and receive support if you are mistreated by that group because even your last line of defense, HR, is a personal friend hand-picked by the CEO. There are even family members who make business decisions that don't work here, and you'll have to abide by those, too. I had seen some very cruel things take place for favoritism to the family and its friends. You may drive yourself mad dealing with the immense amount of hypocritical corporate politics around the family and the way rules bend around them and those that are close.

Such a disappointment

Pros

They have ESPP, RSUs, and free benefits (mediocre ones). My manager is fantastic as is the rest of our team. We generally have to keep our heads down to avoid the politics and hyper-emotional men who work here.

Cons

Where to begin... - PTO is minimal compared to other tech companies (3 weeks per year which includes sick time and a force company "shutdown" where you have to use your own PTO) - Leadership clearly doesn't communicate. Initiatives roll forward with a lot of disagreement. - Return to office took effect this month and they're using badge reporting to spy on employees, so no trust there. - Executives flake on meetings they request. - Executives are very defensive when change is proposed - Things here move very slowly, yet leadership speaks about urgency at the same time. - The CEO talks about culture, but doesn't actually care about employee well-being. - Being a younger employee here is the worst. The old white boys club is all there is. If you're younger than 40, run for the hills.

DO NOT WORK HERE

Pros

In 20+ years of work, this is the first job I've had where I can say there is no positive. Anyone being hired into the new AD/CSM role will receive less pay than those currently in the role. I can say for us in the current role, the pay is competitive.

Cons

hands down worst job I've held in 20+ years of working. I don't write many reviews on anything, but felt obligated to warn people about this company. At least 80% of the staff agrees with me and is looking to leave. Many have left this year already. See below: - no work-life balance - no ability to provide meaningful value - HIGHLY micromanaged - no empowerment to do the job - constantly changing initiatives that effect pay (weekly changes) - nepotism. The new head of sales is the 32 year old godson to the CRO who has no experience managing a sales department - expected to work on PTO - 300+ emails a day - 85-95% of clients are angry and yell at you on a daily basis - understaffed and over worked and more and more work is piled on constantly - former head of department was fired and so was the VP under her for speaking up and saying that we are not treated properly - no room for growth - no culture. only meet up is 1 time per year at SKO which is a 14 hour work schedule each day - terrible benefits and close to no matching 401k - extremely little diversity - watch the CEO on earnings calls and decide for yourself if you believe in leadership here or ability to talk to the street! Highly advise you to check these out - stock has plummeted and Microsoft has entered as competitor - extremely antiquated technology - terrible work-flow processes - work HARDER not SMARTER mentality with no change
