Pros

It pays the bills and they are flexible if you need a day off on short notice. Work is very easy and there are some friendly staff member that know how to smile. Pt care is not the best but def not the worst.

Cons

Our facility was sold and we found out via a monthly newsletter from the CEO, Ben Brier. No one claims to have known a company bought our facility for millions ? I would not make a purchase that large sight unseen. Would you? Management lacks every ounce of what it takes to be fair, and respectful. There is not effort to hide who is favored and it is flaunted in front of co-workers creating a very negative and resentful environment. Communication is severely lacking. Training for new hires is minimal and poorly organized. Standards are different depending on favoritism. Company offers bonuses but if they are earned don't expect them to tell you or pay you in a timely fashion. They tell you when they see fit and pay you 5 months later. Don't dare to offer ideas on process improvement or suggest something needs corrected, they will talk loudly about you in the hall so everyone else can here. Very unprofessional and HR turns a blind eye. Most negative working environment I have ever been a part of. This may be isolated to our facility but I doubt it. I worked in another facility for 20 yrs and never experienced half of what I am encountering here.

Pros

Very thorough care to patients. Pay attention to details and follow Medicare guidelines very carefully. Focused on providing the beat care to patients in their home.

Cons

Communication can be slow between staff at times, but management tries to get information out as consistently as possible.

Pros

Pay is average, charting isn't difficult once you learn it. Co-workers are nice (Nurses, Therapists)

Cons

Absolutely no appreciation of their nurses; will work you to death, even when you are ill. Do not recommend this company to anybody unless management makes a 360 turn and starts to appreciate their employees. Management also gets all kinds of bonuses for reaching a goal for Start of Cares while the nurses get nothing but more work pushed onto them.
