Pros

Name recognition when applying to other companies.

Cons

The pay is so bad and the comp plan is always changing. Management has zero idea what is going on and what changes are happening until the day that they are rolled out. I would say that less than 20% of reps hit quota. They brought in consultants to evaluate why over half of our sales team resigned over the course of 2 months, said that they would increase our base salary, and then announced that if there were to be any changes it wouldn’t be until 2026. Management does not promote based on merit, it’s by favoritism. You cannot believe a single thing that is said to you because they do not follow through with anything that is promised. The overall morale is so bad, people are actively trying to get out of this place.

Pros

There are no pros working here. Do not even think about working here.

Cons

Too many cons to list. But here are a few: 1. The pay is a complete joke. $49k base salary. Marketing will say “but the company bonus!” …yeah. An extra $100 or $200 pre tax each month. Add that up, and it’s still the lowest paying base salary SAAS sales company in Tampa Bay 2. The sales “leaders” are betas. They couldn’t even manage a fast food restaurant on graveyard shift. The amount of micromanaging they have is ridiculous. You will clock in at 9AM on a Monday (oh yeah. You clock in for this role, which is so elementary for a sales rep role), and you will see 5+ emails from “leadership” asking you to update sales notes 3. The sales “leadership” BEGS sales reps to send them deals so they can contact the prospects. The leaders take days or even a week to do it (if at all), and provide zero value or reason for the prospect to ever respond to them. Total jokes 4. The sales leaders evaluate every single stat about you. Will monitor your call time, your computer activity, and will micromanage you until you quit. 5. Majority of the leaders are Scientologists, and play favorites to reps who are Scientologists. Marketing will reply to this and say it is false, but reps were penalized when reporting factual data proving this to sales leaders 6. The CEO is completely clueless. He’s looking for cost cutting, and also forcing everyone to work 5 days a week in office if you live within 30 miles of Clearwater. Drive 60 total miles a day, 5 days a week to make $49k base salary? Do it if you want to, but it makes no sense 7. The company is trying to do marketing smear campaigns against the competition because the competition is coming in fast and stealing all the business. Customers have realized that KnowBe4 has no innovated in years, repackaged products into new names, and is too expensive with little value 8. Sales leaders promote mediocrity. They clearly play favorites, and will support beta behavior and poor sales performance as long as you do what they say If you like sitting in traffic for 3 hours a day 5 days a week, low pay, and micromanagement, come work here! Otherwise, avoid this place like the plague.
