Pros

I had a wonderful manager, so I thought. For the time I was employed, my manager was great to work with. The team I was on was easygoing, positive, and fun to be a part of. Before the company was ran into the ground, we received a lot of incentives in hitting goals, gifts, etc.

Cons

If you want a stable and trustworthy company, I would stray far away from working here. They did a layoff back in 2023 under everyone's feet, those they kept, they reassured us we were there for a reason. Then, the next thing you know, you're being asked to join a meeting where they will wipe your job from under you too. They will read from a script, not thank you for any of your contributions and like they didn't get to know you as a person, and also cover up their shady behavior by a lousy severance package they know no one can live off of especially during these times. I was once so proud to be a part of a company that I thought it was just for your manager to be in a meeting laying you off not saying a single word. Not a thank you, I appreciated you. Nothing. So now you are left to figure out if you can survive moving forward until you hopefully find a job in the current market. Absolutely disgusted and shocked is an understatement. Find a company that won't sell you lies and treat you like a human being at the end of the day.

Pros

Remote Unlimited PTO (challenges however as it is not managed appropriately)

Cons

DEI efforts appear to be merely for show, marked by concerning and ignorant language. There is a noticeable lack of financial commitment to DEI activities, and diverse teams are non-existent. There is a pervasive presence of internal conflicts, and the leadership team lacks substantial alignment. Ambiguity regarding responsibilities is widespread, causing undue stress, along with significant delays and outright failure. This ambiguity also results in frequent micromanagement from various sources which hinders progress and causes significant damage to relationships. The company culture, despite being professed as a "family," is inauthentic, if you do not live in Omaha, you will be treated differently. Across the organization, there is a deficiency in skills, particularly among senior leaders who have not pursued further education and lack initiative or responsibility for learning. The organization suffers from a significant lack of baseline processes, tools, and frameworks, lagging significantly behind technologically. This technological lag results in inefficient internal operations, confusing and overwhelming communications, and loss of revenue/clients. Furthermore, job security is a perpetual concern, as the company will engage in job cuts at the end of the year to meet budgetary goals, tossing 'valued family members' out the door and leaving remaining employees, who have been through or are near burn-out, to shoulder additional and significant responsibilities.

Going up in flames

Pros

The camaraderie used to be unmatched. Then new management came in and practically turned everyone against each other. Lot of freedom/autonomy which is great until they expect you to work 12 hours per day.

Cons

This company was really amazing … until it wasn’t. Layoffs left and right. No information communicated. Just acting like everything’s fine and they didn’t randomly fire thousands of people. Then they continue to hire a ton of recruiters in an already immensely saturated market. They use you for what they can until you burn out then they toss you to the side like you’re nothing. Make sure you suck up to management or you’re pretty much bullied into quitting your job. The managers are all condescending and will talk down to you at any chance they get. They glorify top producers that have been there for years with mass amounts of nurses to retain and compare them to recruiters that have been there for less than a couple of years and are trying to survive in a very sh*tty market. How is this even comparable?!?
