Pros

No weekends, major holidays off, smoke breaks in between houses

Cons

Molly Maid tells you it will be full-time but most days we were off by 1 or 2 (start at 8). Also, you don't get paid for drive time, and they frequently sent me to houses that were an hour away. Tons of unpaid time like daily morning meetings from around 8-8:30 , getting supplies ready for the next day, getting the company car washed, filling company tires with air, getting stuck in traffic between houses, etc. You only get paid a percentage for houses cleaned. I got paid 18%. So if I cleaned a $200 house, I would make $36. Your partner gets a percentage and Molly Maid keeps about 62%. Only good thing is in a few months I learned tips and tricks that enabled me to start cleaning houses on my own. I make more cleaning 1 house a day than I did cleaning 4 or 5 a day with MM! Also, they put brand new people as route leaders who don't know what they're doing and you end up taking the heat for complaints about their work. Also, there is no advancement in MM. The highest you can ever make as a housekeeper is to be a route leader, which is around 20%. No raises.

Terrible company.

Pros

Possible to make decent money after the franchise makes > $1M. The owner I sold it to has expanded considerably and appears to be doing quite well.

Cons

Impossible to earn a living based solely on the franchise until the franchise is making > $500k. Working with minimum wage worker mentality. Working for thankless customers who will drop you for a $5 difference. This isn't a career, this is paying to have a job that doesn't pay. Requires twice as much investment capital as what the sales/plan suggests to get it going.
