Great Perks!

Pros

I have never worked for a company that offered so many paid holidays (we have 13!) and there are many non-traditional benefits offered, i.e. adoption assistance, home buying assistance for first time homebuyers, paid parental leave, banking discounts program for employees, and benefits start on day one of employment.

Cons

Only limited remote roles available

Thank you for taking the time to review us on Glassdoor. We’re thrilled you enjoy working with us and that you’ve had such a positive experience with the perks and benefits we offer. It’s wonderful to hear that programs like paid holidays, adoption assistance, homebuying assistance, paid parental leave, and day one benefits have made a meaningful difference for you. We appreciate your feedback about the limited number of remote roles. We understand this is important to many employees, and we will share this input with the appropriate team members. Thank you for being part of the Nevada State Bank team and for your more than five years of dedication. We truly value you.

Horrible Bank

Pros

Paid holidays and decent hours.

Cons

Horrible place to work. Always understaffed. Unrealistic goals and management is clueless. Go look on the job boards and that will tell you right there. Always looking to hire people because of high turnover. Worst benefits I have ever seen at a job.

Pros

Company CEO cares more about bringing in new people and very little about the legacy employees who have stayed with the company before it expanded services by merger. Promotions occur without regard for experience or ability. This is a great place for the smuzzer to work; or someone with advanced manipulation skills.

Cons

There is no opportunity for advancement vertically, and some long-term employees are pushed into retirement or looking for a new job in this harsh economy. Work enviroment is unfriendly and psychologically stressful. Company CEO is known to "fly off the handle" and terminate executives on the 'spot'. Gender biasis is openly evident. Expect to work long hours without financial recoginition. Poor work life balance.
