Pros

The people on my team were professional, easy to get along with, and fun. We had a competent and laid back manager. Most of the time we had a comfortable work/life balance, and it was an enjoyable environment.

Cons

The senior management of the company is jaw-dropping, gobsmackingly terrible. The pay isn't great by tech standards if that's the area you work in. The benefits package is relatively okay. The management of technology suffers from inability to pay for really talented people, and also senior level decisions being made by people with no subject matter expertise.

Pros

Able to work from home a few days a week. That's really the ONLY Pro.

Cons

They 'lay-off' 100+ people every year. You'll eventually be one of them. Most IT are contractors from another country that sends a lot of IT folks each year to the US under H1-B visas.... Management will rarely talk to you, unless they are going to a meeting, then they will quiz you about everything so they appear to know what they are talking about in the meeting...you know, the meeting you should have been invited to, but you weren't...... Managers are basically clueless. They hire good people underneath them, then take all of the credit when projects go well. Managers will also promote only the people they like, so it won't matter how good you are, if they don't like you, you won't go up, get a good raise, and will eventually be laid off.

Pros

Friendly colleagues There is nothing good other than the above. It was good when it was safeway . After buyout from Albertsons they are going in opposite trajectory to become one of the worst company to work with

Cons

The Current IT CEO anuj is really horrible . They fire and rehire contractors Management has no clue or real IT work They have a very thick management and less people working on active work Opinions of employees doesn't matter Employees are treated as slaves rather than humans No growth and you will be stuck . Upper management will bring their own people and not really provide growth opportunities They have a very crappy health insurance There is a dress code in the office They are very conservative and work opposite to traditions of a Silicon Valley There is no innovation
