Free cups of tea, great store manager, fun employees

Cons

SUPER STRESSFUL AND PUSHY! I am pushed to push you to purchase and I certaintly don't get payed enough to be this stressed. The last time I was this stressed at a job I at least made more then minimum wage and could make my bills. The advancement for management is totally unfair and only based on sales. They don't care if you've been a stellar manager everywhere else if your sales aren't good enough.

Cons

Area managers are woefully untrained, insecure and vindictive. If Teavana matched Starbucks management competencies, it would improve so much. Appreciate the people you have in-store that are working so hard.

Pros

They have beautiful tea products and fun tea mixtures. They know how to market their merchandise and create the illusion of value.

Cons

Illusion is all it is. They use "bait and switch" startegies on employees and customers. On paper, they may say they're open to ideas, yet they crush the spirit (not to mention the backs) of those who question corporate decisions. Surviving as an ethical Teavana employee is almost more of an oxymoron than "an honest politician".
