Pros
Great product Used to have an amazing culture Still a few good people left
Cons
Horrid executive management Field management is arrogant and useless Top talent is overlooked If you are Male, Pretty and used to work for Abercrombie and Fitch you will have no problem getting top level postitions within this company. I have seen outstanding, talented, caring, field management and corporate partners that built this company, drummed out to make room for these pretty AF boys. Leadership skills are no longer required. Intelligence either. All you have to do is go into a store with the almighty checklists and hassle any management that was not recruited in by the AF boys club. This is no longer a place to grow if you are over forty, or a woman. The only women that are brought on seem to be twenty something and smaller than a size 6. I guess our 35 to 65 demographic that shops Tommy Bahama is no longer on “BRAND” All those wonderful anonymous reviews coming out of the corporate office are probably forced or done by some of those that received promotions because of who they knew vs actually knowing how to do the job they were hired for and are continuing to curry favor with the dear leader.
