Pros

Great coworkers. Love working with veterans.

Cons

Pay: much lower than industry standard. I also found out that they are going to pay an incoming person (same position, fewer qualifications, less experience) more than me, and they refused to increase my pay to even match (much less exceed) the incoming rate. They are also penny-pinchers who were extremely reluctant to pay extra, despite doing the work of 3 people (I had to cover work during their absences). Management: Extremely unprofessional. They accused a coworker of putting patients at jeopardy after putting in notice of leave due to personal/health reasons. Poor follow-through: management was enthusiastic of changes that would increase job satisfaction and patient care. However, they did nothing to make the changes happen, despite promises for over a year. 10 people have left the clinic (which needs at least 16 people to function) in the last 15 months due to pay and poor management.

Pros

You have some serious hard workers. They pour their hearts into the job because they love it. They come in on days off sometimes 6 days why because of dedication.

Cons

You don’t recognize the ones who are dedicated to the patients and the company. You’d rather reward those who don’t pick up those extra shifts or those who decide to go get another job because valor isn’t enough.
