Pros

They always have projects, some interesting, even. If nothing else, they sure can sell, somehow in spite of everything else. Ended up being the first step on a 21 year career. Guess their entry on a resume is a bad thing in the local region now (surprise), but experience is experience if you have none.

Cons

Primarily managed by a weak, insecure bully. Listening to him scream at and intimidate the weakest he can find was infuriating. He never yelled at me. Stood behind my chair a few seconds once while ignored him and then thought better of it, went around the corner and shouted at someone else for 5 minutes. It's sad, because he only yells at those weak enough to let him do so, like any bully torn apart inside by their insecurity. Totally cheap. I was coming from factory, kitchen, and construction jobs. Had no idea what I shoulda been earning. But I knew I coded circles around the entire building and raise were not forthcoming. I see they're still using paper checks - not so unusual back in '05-'06. Wonder if they're still bouncing sometimes... that happened about every few months back then. It would be resolved in hours, but still quite disconcerting and memorable.

Pros

I've been part of the iNET-Web Team as a Front-End Developer for five years, where I've had abundant opportunities for career growth and skill enhancement. The freedom to work independently has allowed me to explore creative solutions and take ownership of my projects, especially in challenging design environments. Pay and raises are directly linked to performance, fostering continuous improvement. Over the years, I've worked on diverse projects across different industries, which have kept me updated with industry trends and emerging technologies.

Cons

Budget restrictions can sometimes impact and frustrate developers striving for quality projects. There is a 401k plan (no matching), and direct deposit is currently being set up.

Pros

You get to work independently and don’t have someone watching over your shoulder all the time. As long as you don’t abuse that and you do good work, you won’t have any issues. You’ll get to work on a wide variety of projects and websites all with unique challenges, designs, etc. Pay is good and raises are performance based. At a point you’ll have to be more proactive and make your case for raises, but that’s normal and expected at any business. Some of the negative reviews on here I’m sure are legitimate, no business is perfect. But some of them are absurd and are clearly from disgruntled employees with an axe to grind. No one is counting or keeping track of your bathroom breaks. The CEO is normal and pleasant and you will rarely even interact with him. No one is screaming or fighting in the office. I’ve been here around 5 years and I’ve never seen anything close to what some of these reviews are describing. Minor issue to begin with, but some reviews mention physical checks. They have now setup direct deposit.

Cons

Benefits could be better depending on your situation. Takes a few years to build up a meaningful amount of PTO, but I’ve also never seen time-off requests denied (paid or unpaid), so you can still take whatever time off you need. My only real gripe is no 401k, but so far the pay has been good enough for it to not be a deal breaker personally.
