Pros

I joined iRhythm Technologies because I wanted to work for company that helps people through healthcare technology. I also saw it as a good opportunity to learn new skills, grow professionally, and be part of a supportive team.

Cons

Processes sometimes change quickly, which can be challenging.

Good product negated by horrible culture and executive leadership

Pros

The compensation package and benefits are outstanding.

Cons

I arrived at iRhythm after a significant executive leadership shakeup. The consistent message I heard from coworkers there longer than I had been was, "This is not the iRhythm I joined." The executive leadership revolving door takes away any air of stability. All the new leadership comes directly from Dexcom or has strong ties to the people from there. They are running a Dexcom playbook that is, quite simply, failing iRhythm. They bring a culture of little care for their employees. Burnout is the name of the game and they play it well. You are a resource to be consumed. Many within the executive leadership team are riding the coattails of the CEO and a small number of other leaders. Their lack of understanding of a broad number of topics makes interactions with them painful and repretitve. The executive leaders who are strong and compitent in their business abilities unfortunately bring a heavy primadona attitude. The technical debt is heavy and the "fix everything at the same time approach" is exhausting people across all departments. There is also a new culture of outsource and offshore. Customer Service, Clinical Operations, HR, Talent Acquisition, Accounting, Finance, and IT are all actively being moved out. The company's reputation is taking hits at every turn.

Pros

Can’t think of any other than collecting my paycheck every 2 weeks.

Cons

Outsourcing to other countries, increasing expectations to “quiet lay -off” people who used to meet expectations, and now say they don’t anymore. Only replacing with people in India or the Philipenes. Merv came to the company and pretty much destroyed the work culture (what was left of it). Employees are ranked on a scale by productivity level and the scale is shown company wide. So basically everyone spends everyday worried about losing their jobs. They’ve cut back on all perks and benefits. With inflation, I make less than I did 3 years ago because raises haven’t been enough to compensate. Internal growth no longer exists because they’re getting rid of people at record rates. You hear of people being fired almost every week now. All so that they can hide these lay-offs for wall street. Call it what it is. Lay-offs.
