The honorees were recognized across two categories: the Business Excellence Award and the Rising Star Award. “These outstanding women are redefining what leadership looks like in the hardware and building supply industry,” said Amy Grant, Associate Publisher of HBSDealer, in a press release. “From emerging talent to seasoned executives, they’re driving progress within their organizations and throughout the industry at large. 84 Lumber is marking its tenth annual “Going Pink” community outreach campaign for Breast Cancer Awareness Month by participating in several big initiatives, including planting 840 trees and making a $36,000 donation to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation (BCRF), the largest private funder of breast cancer research in the world.

84 Lumber is proud to have worked with the City of Wildwood, New Jersey, on its City of Wildwood Boardwalk project. “The City of Wildwood has been working with 84 Lumber through the entirety of the reconstruction of the Wildwood Boardwalk,” said Wildwood Mayor Ernie Troiano, Jr. “84 Lumber has provided quality material, assisted in overcoming supply chain hurdles, and expedited the process to ensure the most savings to the City of Wildwood taxpayers.” The project was a remarkable effort that showed 84 Lumber’s resiliency, flexibility, and commitment to excellence. While the project encountered a few unforeseen challenges, including environmental shifts in the Amazon due to effects of El Niño, regional wildfires, and temporary disruptions at key ports, 84 Lumber worked proactively to navigate these conditions. The team coordinated across international supply chains, rerouted shipments when necessary, and stayed closely aligned with environmental and customs processes to ensure materials reached the Cape May, New Jersey, yard. “They have been professional and consistent with their services,” said Troiano. “The City of Wildwood looks forward to a continued partnership with 84 Lumber for the completion of the Wildwood Boardwalk Reconstruction.”

84 Lumber has announced United Window & Door as its 2025 Vendor of the Year. The annual award celebrates partners that deliver exceptional service, drive mutual growth, and consistently support 84 Lumber’s stores and customers nationwide.
84 Lumber hosted its 35th annual golf invitational at Nemacolin resort in Farmington, Pennsylvania. Guests included representatives from the Boy Scouts Westmoreland-Fayette Council, the Fisher House Foundation, 84 Lumber vendors, and associates. The two-day event featured a round of golf at Nemacolin’s renowned Shepherd’s Rock and Mystic Rock courses, and a private dinner reception where 84 Lumber proudly presented a donation of $164,884 to the Westmoreland-Fayette Council. The contribution will support programs that build leadership, character, and essential life skills for more than 2,000 boys and girls served by the council across Westmoreland and Fayette counties. Since 1989, the Westmoreland-Fayette Council has received more than $3 million in donations from 84 Lumber.
