84 Lumber has added another component plant to its growing list after its latest location opened in the ever-expanding Detroit market.
Across the country, our teams are proudly recognizing Military Appreciation Month as part of our 10th annual Operation Appreciation campaign. The Mansfield, Ohio truss plant showed up in full force, repping their campaign shirts and honoring those who serve. We're proud to support our veterans and active-duty military across every part of our company.
Across the country, our Purple Heart parking spots at every store recognize those who’ve given more than most. To all who have served and sacrificed, we thank you.
A day of giving back with the Friends of the Pittsburgh Fisher House, made even better with help from our friends at the Pittsburgh Pirates. 💛 🖤 🎖️

84 Lumber is excited to announce two new locations in Colorado, allowing the company to expand its services to customers in the region. The company has opened an 18,324-square-foot store north of Denver in Greeley, Colorado. The new store, which includes a lumberyard, is located at 14902 County Road 64, sits on 9.8 total acres and has seven acres of rail service. The new lumberyard in Greeley will pair with the Denver lumberyard in servicing the Denver metro, the southern Denver area, and northern Colorado. This location will stock core homebuilding materials – similar to the Denver lumberyard’s inventory and services. In addition, 84 Lumber has opened a new component plant in Fort Collins, Colorado, located at 1800 East Harmony Road. This state-of-the-art, 59,400-square-foot plant will further expand 84 Lumber's capacity to service customers in the market with custom-engineered trusses. 84 Lumber is also working on opening another component plant in Fort Lupton, as well as a store in Colorado Springs.
In a powerful show of gratitude this May, 84 Lumber is doubling its in-store discount for military veterans, active-duty service members, and first responders to 20 percent off merchandise for the month of May at all locations across the country. The expanded offer, part of the company’s broader Operation Appreciation program, is one of several ways the nation’s largest privately held building materials supplier is recognizing those who serve during Military Appreciation Month. “This year marks the 10th anniversary of Operation Appreciation, and we’re incredibly proud of how this initiative has grown into a meaningful expression of our gratitude for those who serve,” said Amy Smiley, vice president of marketing at 84 Lumber. “From expanded discounts and national partnerships to spotlighting veteran-owned businesses and supporting our own veteran associates, we remain committed to honoring the sacrifices of service members and their families — not just during Military Appreciation Month, but all year long.” The 20 percent discount, which doubles the company’s usual offer, reflects 84 Lumber’s continued commitment to supporting those in uniform through career opportunities, national partnerships, and community recognition.
