ADT Safe Places partner Chicago CRED is working to reduce violence and create safer streets, one person at a time.

The rattle of a shaking spray paint can cut through the crisp air on a cold February morning in Henderson, Nevada, just miles from the famous Las Vegas Strip. Holding the can wasn’t a graffiti artist looking over his shoulder for police; instead, it was an ADT employee, hoping his work will help those first responders find a street address faster, should the need arise.
On a quaint Lansing, Michigan, street sits what looks like a turquoise dollhouse resting on a white pole, complete with detailed painted trim and a stone chimney. The miniature house is a Little Free Library filled with books for young neighbors to borrow and enjoy.
ADT is donating a total of $50,000 to the YMCA of South Florida and the YMCA of South Palm Beach County through the ADT Safe Places program. The organizations are each receiving $25,000 from ADT to best serve their community, with an emphasis on safety for all children, regardless of a family’s economic situation.
What can data do for you? That was a question answered repeatedly at CES 2024, the world’s largest technology convention held annually in Las Vegas. ADT leaders drove the conversation as they spoke on panels focused on the future of smart home security during the four-day event.

As part of the continued efforts to make a positive impact on children across South Florida, ADT and the Miami Marlins recently offered affordable baseball and softball lessons at the Marlins Youth Academy at Babcock Park, in Hialeah, Florida, through the Marlins Rookies program. Marlins Rookies provides access to these sports for many kids and encourages developing social and emotional competency.
