This year, we celebrated a very special achievement, the very first global Family Splash & Care across all AIRE Locations. It was a unique opportunity for the children of our employees to dive into our spaces, enjoying our baths and exploring the magic of AIRE in a whole new way. Our locations at New York, Chicago, London, Barcelona, Almería, Seville and Vallromanes opened their doors, showing that AIRE is not only about creating experiences for our guests, but also about caring for the people who make them possible. This would not have been possible without the dedication, creativity, and commitment of our incredible teams across the globe whose passion transformed made this initiative a reality. For us, caring goes beyond our guests, it’s about building community, honouring the trust of our employees, and celebrating the families who support them every day.

Meet Fernando Delgado Ponce, Head of Finance – EU at AIRE in Barcelona · What do you consider to be the biggest challenges you’ve faced in AIRE’s finance area, and how have you overcome them? One of the main challenges was supporting AIRE in its transition toward a more mature financial structure, dealing with audits, due diligence processes, and consolidations. More than the technical aspects, the real challenge was establishing a culture of rigor and transparency. We overcame it through people management, continuous improvement, and learning. · How do you see the evolution of finance at AIRE in the coming years? What are the key strategies we’re implementing to keep growing? Finance will become more sophisticated due to increasing exposure to stakeholders. That’s why we’re transforming the area with a strong focus on technology and talent: analytical tools, automation, predictive models, and training our team to act with autonomy and strategic vision. We want Finance to drive AIRE’s growth. · On a personal and professional level, what motivates you most about working at AIRE, and how do you think your team contributes to the company’s overall success? Personally, I’m motivated by being part of a purpose-driven project where the values align with my own. Professionally, it’s a privilege to have supported AIRE’s growth from a strategic role. The finance team is key: it ensures compliance, produces reliable information, and supports decision-making.

On International Diversity Day, we reaffirm our commitment to inclusion and respect. Because at AIRE, we build unity through the authenticity of each individual.
