As a part of the New Hire Connect program, Blend@Akamai, our India team recently met new employees who joined in January. 👥 🤝🏻 They met in person for the two-day event, in Akamai's Bangalore office and had a lot of fun networking and getting to know their workplace. It was an excellent opportunity for new hires to meet the leaders and learn more about the Akamai culture. My name is Jaynti, and I want to share with you my thoughts about Akamai's ReVive program. 💭 Akamai’s ReVive program helps working professionals get back to work after a career break, in my case, an 8 year-long gap. This opportunity has reinstated my confidence and given me a positive outlook. I am thankful to Akamai and the sales team for identifying my strengths to fit the job profile. 🙏🏻 Though it was a completely unknown domain, the team has been motivating and supporting me in all instances. It didn't take me long to realize I’ve joined the right place – one that’s not only inclusive but also provides employees an opportunity to build their skills. I am gratified and lucky to be part of the Standardized Develop team and proud to be employed with Akamai.

"When we built Web Security Analytics, what started as a fun idea between my colleagues and I, ended up becoming a reality – a feature that colors the chart in the pride colors. While I don’t use this mode regularly, it is so cool to show off from time to time." - Ori, Senior Product Manager at Akamai. Now when our customers log in to our tool, they can choose to have a Web Security Analytics Pride Month Mode, which changes the graphs into LGBTQIA+ colors. 🤩
My name is Graciela Mora, I have been working at Akamai for 4 years, and currently, I'm a Technical Project Manager based in 📍Costa Rica! I started off studying Industrial Engineering in 2016, but thanks to a Programming class, I realized that just wasnt for me. So I went on to learn about Systems Engineering. I was accepted into the Technical Academy at Akamai initially and then went on to become a Security Consultant after graduation. Last year, I decided to make a career change and become a Technical Project Manager. Looking back, the advice I would give to myself is to 'Be patient with yourself'! You won’t nail everything on your first try, if you fail, the worst thing you can do is laugh at yourself. Meet Hadar 👋 A Senior Software Engineer, based in📍 Tel Aviv for #AkamaiIsrael. We asked Hadar to share more about what brought her to Akamai and her experience with us. "Something just felt right about Akamai. It had a warm, family feeling on top of the technology, products and exciting job description – everything about it was appealing. I always feel like I have voice here and that I’m being heard, from conversations on products design, roadmaps, to the technologies we use. We are all involved in making decisions, even when we moved to our new offices, we had a say in how it looked. Our Akamai Wellness team are always looking for ways to advance our wellness programs and recently they participated in a panel with other wellness leaders at #WWCMA22 to share ideas. This is an annual conference hosted by the Worksite Wellness Council of Massachusetts, where the agenda is all things employer wellness.
