Employees from Armstrong's local Butler system are joining in the Go Red for Women campaign today. The awareness of women's cardiovascular health is especially important to Community Marketing Manager Daneen (R), who is recovered from a major heart attack nearly four years ago!
Our maintenance pro, Joe, works to make our corporate office and customer service center a little greener! Joe would provide a much more technical update, but essentially he's replacing the current bulbs with more energy-efficient LED lights. Joe knows a thing or two about lights. Every year, he puts up a Christmas light display at his home that takes about 140 man hours (or two weeks time) to set up!
There’s never been a better time to join our highly-skilled, motivated, and collaborative workforce! We offer competitive pay, great benefits and free broadband services to employees inside our service area. Visit agoc.com/careers to check out all of our available openings!
Armstrong Leadership Academy is back in session! As the second in a four-forum series of professional development, high potentials, new leaders, and movers and shakers across the Armstrong Group footprint gathered in Butler recently to explore their DiSC profiles. The DiSC profile is based on nearly 100 years of research, categorizing individuals into four major categories of behavioral styles: Dominance, influence, Conscientiousness, and Steadiness. While DiSC should not be used as a hiring test or as a way to predict performance, it can be a valuable tool for examining how an individual might use their natural inclinations in the workplace. A large part of what Armstrong's Learning & Development team supports is developing professional networks across roles and companies.
