While spending a day at the racetrack is a dream for every car enthusiast, for Jordan, it is also a time to help customers analyze massive amounts of data in real-time to optimize performance, make crucial decisions, and ensure the safety of the vehicle and the drivers. “Going into motorsport as a career was a no-brainer. “I wanted to explore a new direction so I joined a start-up. I worked there for three months but, before I could settle in, the startup lost funding and the company shut down,” says Software Quality Analyst Shweta Hegde. After the start-up closure, Shweta faced the choice of exploring a path with a new company or returning to Bosch as a “boomerang” associate. When asked whether she would recommend working at Bosch, Shweta shares, “I left and decided to come back, so I’ve chosen to work here at least twice. “The saying ‘the grass is greener on the other side’ did not exactly ring true in my case,” says Principal Software Engineer Brad Ryken. Originally focused on the measurement and calibration of cars, Brad was looking to transition to Frontline Software Development.
