Three years ago, CGI's Donovan Jordan shared with us about celebrating Black excellence, embracing the future of his family and his excitement to be labeled a Black professional. We kicked off Black History Month on CGI's social channels by checking back in with Donovan. What has changed in three years? Watch Donovan’s video from three years ago and read the rest of his updates in our latest Life at CGI blog.
At CGI, we like data. 📈🤓 We pay attention to the numbers and are thrilled to see these numbers coming directly from our community of talented consultants. We think they’re all required when you start from a baseline of respect, and we’re continually working to reinforce and improve these values.
We are simply thrilled to have again received the Equality 100 Award from the Human Rights Campaign's Corporate Equality Index, naming CGI a Leader in LGBTQ+ Workplace Inclusion. They refreshed their criteria and fewer companies were named this year, and we're happy to learn CGI continues to be recognized for our inclusive culture.
Curious what it's like to work at CGI? We've posted several new stories lately to our Life at CGI blog. Here's one story from Asbel Ngetich, who came to CGI from our Apprenticeship Program.
We are proud to share our expanded partnership with Google to drive innovation in the responsible use of artificial intelligence (AI) technologies. “AI continues to be at the top of discussion agendas with clients around the world seeking trusted advice from CGI for how to responsibly move from AI experimentation to implementation – while accelerating their return on investment,” says CGI President and Chief Executive Office George D. Schindler. “Our expanded partnership with Google is one of the key global alliances that will help us develop and deliver new AI-based services and solutions for clients, as well as expanded skills development opportunities for our consultants.”
Learn why an innovation culture and data literacy are critical to the successful implementation of artificial intelligence. CGI AI expert Gabriella Lio shares key insights in her new blog.
Are you a veteran, active military or military spouse looking to translate your experience and expertise into a civilian career in business and IT consulting? Join us at CGI’s Service to Civilian career workshop and job fair on November 6 in the D.C. metro area or November 9 in Belton, TX. Every year we actively recruit and hire American heroes for positions across the country. Recognized by U.S. Veterans Magazine as one of the ‘Best of the Best’ among veteran-friendly companies, we continue to honor current and former servicemen and women by creating opportunities that recognize their unique skills and talents. This year’s Service to Civilian events will feature a gallery walk where local and national organizations can showcase their services to the military community. They include Blue Star Families, Hiring Our Heroes, TAPs and more. Participants will also have an opportunity to meet CGI leaders and IT professionals – many of whom have also made the transition from military to civilian service. Registration is open, and spots are limited.
