If you have been with Cardinal for more than a few hours you have probably heard the word CULTURE. If you haven't, then please see Del for a proper explanation of what it is and why we have it. Have you ever wondered why it's so crucial to have or more importantly how do you get it? We all know there is a consensus that the culture at Cardinal is great but it shouldn't stop at the HQ level. I've heard the feedback that "I can't wait to get to HQ, they have so much fun, the culture is so great there" but how do you think all of that started? CM's this one is for you! Culture and camaraderie start at the top, and for most onsite teams that person is the Community Manager. Being a CM is a tough gig, trust me I was one for many years. One of the best takeaways I had from my time as a CM was watching my team grow and take on bigger roles. Their accomplishments felt just as much like my own because I knew I helped them gain the tools and training they needed to succeed. Being a manager isn't about actually managing the day to day tasks and reports, it's about being a leader.
