CSH recently launched a new informal tool called sponsorship. Mentorship and coaching are closely related to sponsorship, but sponsorship is different. Both relationships are integral in the advancement of associates from all backgrounds. Sponsors are invested in the professional success of their protégés, and they make an effort to talk about their protégé when they aren't in the room. This opens up opportunities and advantages for the protégé they wouldn't normally have access to.
