We met up with Anel Behric and asked him how has being part of DoiT's remote team shaped your perspective and experience of inclusivity at work? A: "Remote work is something I enjoy and value. Being able to work from virtually anywhere in the world puts a smile on my face every time I think about that. When I can sit next to my beehives enjoy a cup of coffee and get my day started is irreplaceable in my opinion. instead of traveling for 30 minutes or an hour, I can use that time to get my work started, but in a place I prefer. DoiT recognizes that mental health is an incredibly important aspect of overall health. During the month of May, DoiT has helped create greater awareness and understanding of mental health that includes emotional, physical, psychological, and social well-being for our Do’ers. We have seen a number of programs launched that include: - Multiple mindfulness workshops in partnership with Evenchilada - May walking challenge - A new special interest group called Work Gym - A virtual space (regular video calls known as work gyms) for people who want to do focused work with social accountability. - Virtual game nights These new programs will not just be for the month of May, but a continuing conversation to help shed more light and acceptance not only for our Do’ers but for all those struggling.
