59 Full Sail University graduates were credited on 60 GRAMMY®-nominated projects across 39 separate categories this year, with six Full Sail graduates being nominated for awards of their very own at the 63rd Annual GRAMMY® Awards. Following last night’s ceremony, 17 graduates were credited on 16 GRAMMY®-winning artist releases across 17 categories. In addition, Recording Arts graduate, Andrew Coleman, took home a GRAMMY® Award of his very own for his work as an Engineer on Beck’s Hyperspace in the category of Best Engineered Album, Non-Classical.
Hispanic Outlook Magazine’s October issue featured top 100 lists to chart the national progress of Hispanics in higher education and to recognize the institutions that are committed to serving Hispanics' educational needs. This year, Full Sail University was recognized in the publication’s top 100 colleges and universities list for Hispanics. Most notably, Full Sail was also ranked number one on the publication’s top 10 list for its 2019 visual and performing arts degrees.
Paul Nowak is a lifelong video game fan and Game Design faculty member who is preparing the next generation of game designers for personal and professional success. He started out in the advertising world, but after several years he decided to make a career change and pursue his passions by enrolling in Full Sail's Game Design master's program.

The Fortress at Full Sail University has been named to eFuse's list of ten most elite collegiate esports facilities. The list highlights esports facilities that range from large-scale spectator arenas to training facilities.
In collaboration with Walmart and Lift Orlando, Full Sail University joined Dr. Jennie Porter Smith, who leads a charter school called Legends Academy. Together they were all able to assist her in serving the 450 scholars at the K-8 academy in Washington Shores, located within the 32805 zip code.

The Project and Portfolio II and Fundamentals of Production I instructor teaches students for eight weeks straight as they pitch, prepare, and pre-produce their movie idea. His eclectic professional experiences as a day player, film editor, and college professor give him plenty of source material for his Full Sail classes.
